DESTROY GUNDAM goated, the pilot not as much. whats the point of having her in a big scary easily targeted gundam, if she's just gonna be a plot device. Its such a departure from her previous gundam Stella deserved a more proper ending

Episode Context

Coming directly off PHASE-31's revelation of the Destroy Gundam's catastrophic rampage, this episode forces the series to cash in on the emotional promises built around Extended pilot Stella Loussier and Shinn's deeply personal connection to her. Sitting at episode 32 of 50, SEED Destiny is past its midpoint and actively accelerating its dramatic stakes, pushing both sides of the conflict toward choices with irreversible consequences. What unfolds here reshapes character trajectories and moral alignments that will define the final stretch of the series.
