Episode Context

Landing at episode 29 of 50, this episode arrives directly after the chaos and loss of PHASE-28: SURVIVORS AND SACRIFICES, functioning as a deliberate cool-down beat that shifts focus from the battlefield to the mind. It deepens the portrait of Durandal at a pivotal midpoint in the season, seeding his ideological framework for the conflicts still to come. What's established here feeds directly into PHASE-30: A FLEETING DREAM, making this a quiet but load-bearing piece of the larger narrative architecture.
