Episode Context

Arriving at the series' midpoint stretch, this episode follows the Minerva's return to active operations and escalates the external conflict to match the internal fractures forming within the crew. It bridges the resumption of the ship's mission from PHASE-15 directly into the more introspective territory explored in PHASE-17, using the chaos of combat in the Indian Ocean as a pressure cooker for the personal and ethical struggles that will define the season's second half.
