This anime is completely different from the previous series. The pace is fast, even too fast for me, making it feel rushed and too forced to jump into the battle scenes between Gundams. The animation quality is also slightly worse than Seed. On the other hand, for those who pay attention, there is a sense of nostalgia when seeing the last Gundam appear, which looks similar to Amuro's Gundam.

Episode Context

This is ground zero, Episode 1 of 50, picking up in the aftermath of the original Gundam SEED conflict and establishing the fragile political landscape that the entire series will dismantle. There is no preceding episode; everything here is foundation. What 'Angry Eyes' sets up is the central tension that will drive the season: a peace that was never truly built, only borrowed, and the key players who will be forced to choose sides when it finally breaks.
