Episode Context

Coming directly off episode 14's shocking defeat of Domon's Shining Finger technique, this episode escalates the fallout by forcing Domon to reckon with Master Asia's true allegiances, a conflict that has been building since their reunion. Positioned roughly a third of the way through the 49-episode run, this is a clear narrative inflection point that closes out the Shuffle Alliance's current chapter and directly sets the stage for episode 16's 'Rise of the Dark Gundam,' which promises to introduce the series' larger existential threat.
