Episode Context

At episode 34 of 47, the series is deep into its final third, past the point of character establishment and now drawing out the emotional consequences of decisions made earlier in the run. The groundwork laid in Yuko's relationships and personal growth across the middle stretch of the season is likely being tested here, with 'New School Troubles' suggesting a disruption to the comfortable rhythms the characters have settled into. With roughly thirteen episodes remaining, this episode likely plants seeds of change or conflict that will carry forward into the series' closing arc.
