A very nice and clean ending to a season filled with crazy shenanigans. Not perfect, just because I felt like there could have been a slightly more satisfying way to deal with Tanpopo/Makoto, but it is what it is. There's really not much of anything set up for next season since we didn't leave on a cliff-hanger or anything, so we'll probably pick up one or another plot line a little bit into the new season, which I'm not complaining about. One of the strengths of this show is how everything manages to feel cohesive and come together despite how much is going on, and I think this finale showed that really well.

This finale was really well deserved after all they've been through. Finally, the mood shifts back to their usual antics, and finally seeing the family relax together was satisfying. This felt like a genuine celebration of their survival and the hard work they have been through.
