Makoto is crazy and I love him that way, oh, my God. Also, I have a crazy emotional weakness for innocent, vulnerable, mistreated children, so we can imagine how I felt this episode. Yeah, this was an emotional rollercoaster. I got my answer regarding Ai and Mizuki's dynamic - well, as much as they gave me - and Ai's role in the future of this show could be very, very interesting if they go the way I want them to go with it. Then, we obviously have the conflict with Makoto that was set up last episode, and it looks as if it's gonna continue full speed ahead in the next one. I am very much enjoying this whole bunch of episodes, so keep it coming.

The fight in this episode was so tragic. The animation was so superb that the impacts felt like it has weight into it. And even the Hazakura heartbeat getting louder made the tension rise even more. Seeing Taiyo refuse to give up and still try to reach their humanity hit me hard.
