Episode Context

Positioned at the threshold of the final act, Episode 8 carries the weight of a series that has been steadily tightening its emotional and supernatural knots. The title 'At the End of Obsession' signals an episode built around compulsion, the kind that drives characters past reason, past survival instinct, into something rawer. Expect the brooding, atmospheric tension that defines Mirage of Blaze, with Madhouse's moody visuals reinforcing the psychological pressure building between Takaya and the possessing spirits surrounding him. This is likely a pivotal, introspective episode, the type that prioritizes emotional confrontation over action, dwelling in anguish rather than resolving it. Fans of the series' slow-burn supernatural drama and its Boys Love undercurrents will find this episode tonally dense and deliberately paced.
