Episode Context

Episode 2, 'Tiger's Eye,' shifts the tone deeper into emotional and supernatural territory. Where the first episode established the reawakening of ancient forces, this one turns inward, prioritizing character psychology over action. Expect a contemplative, heavy atmosphere as Takaya, Haruie, and Araki each wrestle with the weight of past-life identities bleeding into their present selves. The pacing is deliberate and measured, giving space for tension to build through dialogue and introspection rather than confrontation. Reincarnation and duty sit at the center of this episode, with personal loyalty tested against inherited history. It balances quieter dramatic beats with bursts of supernatural intensity, making it the most character-driven installment in this three-part OVA.
