Entering Episode 9, the plot feels like it changes direction in a way that is too forced and rushed. After several previous episodes moved at a very slow and contemplative pace, Under Dark Clouds suddenly throws in so many political consequences at once, making the transition of the main character's fate feel less organic and poorly prepared in terms of scriptwriting.
