Milkyway
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Without any warning, his parents simply vanish on an indefinite vacation, leaving Kenji Nanase with the keys to the family's café, Milkyway. No warning, no real plan — just Kenji, a coffee counter, and a rotating cast of women who show up to help him keep the place running. His younger sister Akira is around to keep things from falling apart, Mayu Kousaka brings the energy, and childhood friend Ayumi Kudou brings the business sense that Kenji is clearly missing. The central tension is pretty grounded: the café has financial problems, the staff dynamics are complicated, and Kenji is figuring things out as he goes. It's lighthearted in tone with a decent amount of humor, but the relationships between the characters carry most of the weight. The source material is a visual novel from Witch, and this two-episode OVA from Datama Film does the expected adaptation work — character introductions, setup, the early push-and-pull between the cast. If you've watched something like Cafe Junkie and appreciated that slice-of-life café framing wrapped around adult content, the setup here will feel familiar. It borrows from the same DNA as titles like Bible Black in terms of pacing and tone. Worth watching if you're into character-driven hentai OVAs where the actual story setup matters a little, not just the scenes themselves.
