sailor_chibi_moon_396★★★★☆EP 1animation is surprisingly smooth for an old game adaptation, and the girl with the ribbons is definitely the best one so far
Without any warning, his parents simply vanish on an indefinite vacation, leaving Kenji Nanase with the keys to the family's café, Milkyway. No warning, no real plan: just Kenji, a coffee counter, and a rotating cast of women who show up to help him keep the place running. His younger sister Akira is around to keep things from falling apart, Mayu Kousaka brings the energy, and childhood friend Ayumi Kudou brings the business sense that Kenji is clearly missing. The central tension is pretty grounded: the café has financial problems, the staff dynamics are complicated, and Kenji is figuring things out as he goes. It's lighthearted in tone with a decent amount of humor, but the relationships between the characters carry most of the weight. The source material is a visual novel from Witch, and this two-episode OVA from Datama Film does the expected adaptation work: character introductions, setup, the early push-and-pull between the cast. If you've watched something like Cafe Junkie and appreciated that slice-of-life café framing wrapped around adult content, the setup here will feel familiar. It borrows from the same DNA as titles like Bible Black in terms of pacing and tone. Worth watching if you're into character-driven hentai OVAs where the actual story setup matters a little, not just the scenes themselves.

sailor_chibi_moon_396★★★★☆EP 1animation is surprisingly smooth for an old game adaptation, and the girl with the ribbons is definitely the best one so far
flower_flute_499★★★☆☆EP 1i thought the art style of the old witch game coming to life was cool and the voice acting was actually decent
kirito_kensei★★★★☆EP 1that cafe owner is living the dream and people complaining about the gaydar vibes in the episode are definitely reaching
zoro_zenith★★☆☆☆EP 1that main guy just runs a cafe while all these girls are clearly into him and the legal system in this world is just as weird as the forums said
penny★★★☆☆EP 1i think the girls at the cafe act so bold around him and the title definitely lived up to its name
tsunade_titan★★☆☆☆EP 1The kitchen scene was such a weird escalation and the way the girls just go along with his behavior makes no sense at all
baniacz★★☆☆☆EP 1You would think a cafe owner would be busier with customers but this guy spends all his time staring at the waitresses while they try to do their jobs
orihime_oracle_103★★★☆☆EP 1The soundtrack during the romance scenes is surprisingly chill, though it feels a bit weird when the dialogue starts getting as thirsty as the title suggests.
winry_rockbell_117★★★☆☆EP 1My favorite thing about these older shows is how they spend five minutes on the coffee brewing process just to establish the mood and then suddenly someone is getting cornered in the breakroom for no reason at all it is such a bizarre shift in tone but the animation on the steam and the cups was surprisingly detailed for this genre
hitsugaya_hyoton★★★☆☆EP 1That opening scene in the cafe had some decent lighting for an old school production and the atmosphere was actually kind of cozy before everything went south
zangetsu_zen★★☆☆☆EP 1Seeing the cafe interior makes me want to visit a place like that, but the actual plot is just a mess of bad decisions and sudden clothes removal.
isekaibro★★☆☆☆EP 1I think the character designs for the girls are actually pretty cute but the owner is a total creep and his hair looks like a mop
geordo_stuart★★★☆☆EP 1I stayed for the cafe aesthetics but the transition into the affair part was way too fast and it made me feel like I missed a whole chapter of the game
ashiaraiyashiki★★★★☆EP 1The title really does not lie because that man wasted zero time getting into trouble with the staff and the kitchen scene was definitely a choice
bizzo_senpai★★★☆☆EP 1The way the owner just walks around his own cafe while everyone watches him is so awkward and the 90s art style actually makes the food look better than the people
mikasasimp★★★★☆EP 1Those two girls look so innocent but having rap sheets miles long for obstructing justice is the funniest contrast
jinbe_juggernaut_91★★★★☆EP 1That smug grin Chiharu gives when they talk about cleaning the train as punishment is so perfectly cheeky
fujin_fighter_37★★★☆☆EP 1I love how the banter between Makina and Chiharu feels so natural like they have been friends for years
amaterasu_angel★★★★☆EP 1The legal system in this world is so broken because blowing up a patrol car gets you a lighter sentence than sugar possession
popthatcorn14★★★★☆EP 1I still cant get over that smug look on Chiharu and her rap sheet is actually terrifying for how she looks
