Episode Context

Coming directly after 'Mikoto - Double,' which explored Mikoto's fractured duality, 'Deep Cover' shifts focus to Kotoko as the second trial's character examinations continue their rotation through MILGЯAM's prisoners. This episode deepens the moral complexity established across prior entries and directly sets the stage for the upcoming 'Jackalope's Report on the End of Second Trial,' which will consolidate and reflect on the outcomes of the entire second trial arc.
