Mija Beautifull Demon
Oshimeter
Synopsis
When a pentagram carved into the grounds of St. Moses Academy tears open a door that probably should have stayed shut, out walks Mija — a demon of lust whose entire agenda is converting the school into her own personal dark paradise. She doesn't do it with violence. She does it by peeling back whatever people are already hiding underneath. That's a genuinely unsettling premise, and the show leans into it. Sara Tadeshina arrives as a substitute teacher sent by a high priest to investigate, armed with cryptic instructions and not much else. Meanwhile, a student named Mayu gets pulled into Mija's orbit in ways she didn't ask for. The two-episode OVA keeps its scope tight — this is an early 2000s AMGA production, so expect that specific era of animation where things feel a little raw and atmospheric at the same time. The blend of supernatural horror and explicit adult content gives it a tone closer to Bible Black than straightforward fan service — there's actual dread underneath the eroticism. If you've watched Discipline: The Record of a Crusade and wanted something with more of a horror backbone, this scratches that itch. It won't reinvent anything, but for a short OVA from 2001, it commits to its dark, occult atmosphere in a way that feels intentional rather than tacked on.
