I was not ready for that ending at all. It felt like Mignon reached his breaking point between his coach being a literal monster and the doctor trying to push him away for his own safety. Seeing him collapse with that head wound was devastating, and the doctor turning him into a vampire to save him changes the whole show

Seeing Mignon just take those hits from the coach is so hard to watch and you just want him to run away to the doctor instead of getting rejected

I was losing my mind when the doctor bit him to save his life because Mignon was basically dead on the sidewalk

That coach is actual trash for how he treats Mignon and then the doctor had to go and break his heart right after he got hurt

Watching Mignon refuse to leave his abusive life because he didn't want to lose the doctor was tragic, but that bite changed their whole future.

The doctor being so harsh to a guy with a literal head injury was hard to sit through and then the supernatural turn at the end was wild

It hit me so hard when Mignon talked about his fear of the ring because he is usually so quiet about his pain and then the doctor bit him

Everything about that ending felt so final and the way the doctor looked while saving Mignon was terrifying and sad at the same time

I can't believe the doctor said those things to Mignon when he was already bleeding and terrified of the ring, but then seeing him realize there was no other way to save him except for the bite was such a massive shift. I really felt for Mignon when he admitted he only stays in that hellhole to be near the infirmary.

That desperate decision to turn Mignon at the very last second shows how much the doctor actually cares despite acting so cold earlier

My heart broke when Mignon said he would keep boxing just to stay near the doctor and then that bite at the end changed everything

Seeing Mignon choose that abusive coach over leaving because he wanted to stay with Young-One was just depressing and then that final scene happened

The way the doctor tried to push him away with those mean words while Mignon was literally dying from a brain injury was brutal

Mignon bleeding from his head while the doctor yells at him was so painful to watch and it makes the ending feel so much more desperate

The way the coach treats him is disgusting and Mignon deserves so much better than being a punching bag for some greedy old man

My heart broke when Mignon made that desperate proposition just to stay close to the doctor and it shows how much he needs someone

That coach is the absolute worst and seeing him put hands on Mignon again made the whole episode feel suffocating

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 9 of 12, this is the stretch where the series shifts from development into consequence — the groundwork laid in earlier episodes, particularly the escalating stakes of episode 8, now begins to close in on Mignon and Oh Young-One. This episode functions as the tipping point before the final act, deepening the central relationship under duress and positioning both characters for the climactic decisions that episodes 10 through 12 will demand.
