Midori Days

This is one of the anime I really loved back when I was in elementary or high school, I think. It has a really good love story, and if I remember correctly, some of the scenes were quite emotional, especially because of the FL.

Well, it looks like our Sawamura is starting to understand what love really means, and all thanks to his experiences with Midori. Even though there were a few episodes that I thought were a bit pointless and kind of cringe because of Midori's attitude, I’d say this ending makes up for everything. What a shame for Ayase, but it seems our boy’s happiness isn’t with her, even though I think they would’ve made a beautiful couple. 🩷

FINALLY, there's some plot progression and it's thanks to Midori finally realizing that she has to get on with her life and damn, thank you Ayase for telling Sawamura everything so clearly. It seems like Midori was the one who made him kinder but I think the only thing this guy needs is love and understanding and a looooot of patience. Good episode, finally damn haha

I’m liking Midori’s character less and less 😭, and it’s such a shame because she had the potential for a different kind of personality, something way more interesting. We get to see 'Mad Dog' Sawamura back in action; this episode made me feel like there wasn't much plot progression, even though we’re already getting close to the end, but oh well, let's keep watching to see what happens. I wish someone, either Kouta or Ayase, would finally take the definitive step and confess, because honestly, they’re just beating around the bush too much at this point.

Well, even Seiji realizes that Midori can’t keep going like this, being his right hand for the rest of their lives. They need her to return to her own body, and that was something I liked about Seiji today—that maturity to say 'this can't go on like this.' As for Midori, well, I feel like she leaves a lot to be desired in this episode. She seems like a somewhat empty character, since they are practically confirming that her only purpose is to be there and serve Seiji.

one of the saddest and most emotional episodes in this series. 🤧 it shows that Midori and Seiji may have to separate so that Midori can return to her normal body. this made me feel both happy for Midori and sad because of what it would mean for their relationship. this episode showed that Seiji truly cares about Midori and is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for her. 🥹

finally~!! the episode addresses the trauma of Midori's true condition making her inevitable return to her natural state. Seiji's character has matured also, his usual brash exterior drops reveals his deep emotional attachment and vulnerability.

i feel sad to Midori's uncomfy situation being stuck as Seiji's right hand, she is forced to watch these romantic engagements and close interactions which amplifies her fear of losing Seiji to someone else.

honestly, this episode is a massive detour from the main romance but its still pretty fun if you don't take it seriously. lol the whole plot revolves around Seiji's nerd classmate (the creepy doll-obsessed classmate) 🥴 and it seems the plot is lack of progression. still, i want to see how the story moves closer to its finale.

wait, whuuut!!?? they switched places without an explanation? 😅 where did Midori's body go and where did Seiji's body go? i mean if it was all a dream i want to understand more why and how they switched each others perspectives?? damnnn, it is confusing as hell!

Ayase's plan to force a romantic spark with Seiji backfire spectacularly resulting in an awkward and hysterical moments, and her schemes are manipulative HAHAHAHA ooopsss~!! 😂 but the highlight was her vulnerability and desperation that often comes with unrequited love in classic harem/rom-coms.

this episode mainly focused on Shiori, the little girl we've seen occasionally throughout the few episodes. a small chunk of the episode is devoted to her resolving on her family issues — and her attempts to win over Seiji 🤭 but i find something extremely sick and wrong about Seiji's sister encouraging Shiori to do it, hmmm.. there are more funny moments in the episode like Midori and Seiji's bond over a fighting game which ties into some of the fluff moments. 💖

wouldn't the gym coach notice that Seiji's right hand wasn't injured if he was supposedly able to grab a bar and do pull ups 🤔 OH WELL~ when Seiji passed out i laughed like kraaazy especially w/ the English book saleswoman HAHAHAHA

Takamizawa's reaction on founding out what was in Seiji's right hand was so over-the-top that it made me laugh HAHAHAHAH he couldn't believe what he saw. 🤭 at first, i thought he would tell everyone but instead he became even more interested in Midori of how cuteee she was. 💚

Seiji has started becoming more considerate of Midori instead of worrying about how strange their situation was. 😊 and this episode also introduced more interactions with the other characters which made the story feel more interesting, there were still plenty of funny moments but i think the emotional scenes stood out more this time and they helped me understand why Midori likes Seiji despite his tough appearance.

t'was fun as the first one but it focused more on how Seiji and Midori are getting used to their unusual situation 😅😂 watching Seiji struggle with everyday tasks was funny hahahaha at the same time there were some sweet moments that showed how much Midori genuinely cares about him.

i liked how the episode introduced the two main characters. even though the story has a weird concept, it already shows their relationship has the potential to become something meaningful. the only thing i didn't really like was how unrealistic the situation was but since its comedy, i didn't mind it too much. 😅 overall, the 1st ep was enjoyable and made me curious about what will happen next.

awweee~ the ending made me smile because it showed that love, trust and perseverance can lead to happiness. i was happy that Midori finally returned to her normal body. ✨and all the characters have grown, Seiji was no longer just the tough and feared delinquent, he became kind, caring and honest about his emotions. Midori also showed courage and patience throughout their unusual journey, proving that TRUE LOVE can overcome difficult situations. 💖

What used to make me laugh doesn't make me laugh as much anymore because I see that there's not much progress in the plot and it keeps going around in circles with the secondary characters' stories over and over again. This time it was the nerds' turn with their puppets. I get the comedy, but it gets to a point where it's repetitive and kind of boring. I hope we see something different in the next episode.

Honestly I wasn't expecting to see something like what I saw in this episode, but it helped for both of them to deepen the relationship they have even if it was only a dream of Midori's. It also makes us realize, or at least me, that Midori has put her life aside for quite a few days to be with Seiji, so what will happen to her? It can't be that she only lives to be with Seiji, right?
