A heavy, rainy atmosphere that really makes you feel the distance between Michiko and Hatchin. It's not the most exciting episode, but the art and mood are honestly good.

This is peak romance! The silence from the start, just the blowing of the smoke, was deafening, yet it was perfectly executed! The animation was fluid and the mischiefs were building up. The local soundtrack was great, especially when it came during the crucial plot points.

For Michiko, this was not a kind episode. Always fighting with Hatchin, physically slapping/abusing her, being a generally neglectful parental figure. I actually got legitimately angry at her
