When the story isn't in a racing mode, the pace becomes a bit slow. Listening to the dialogue makes me a bit bored, but it's still enjoyable. I think the storytelling style for the drama lacks depth and isn't very touching. In addition, with the stiff artwork style, they shouldn't have forced themselves to display humorous expressions like anime in general, because I find it cringe-worthy.

Visually, the episode still looks clean and polished, especially the car focused scenes and scenic backgrounds. Even without a major race happening, the show maintains its automotive passion and attention to detail.

This one is a refresher, away from racing. Some race to win.. Some race for the fame.. Some race for passion.. But there are some race to challenge themselves. Nice episode, it's like the calm before the storm.
