This episode has decent action and a surprising amount of build up to the villain with his abilities. I’m certainly enjoying the show so far and the twists.

Mikura’s sharp combat skill and no-nonsense attitude remain a highlight, while Harada and Kurokawa bring plenty of comedic banter to keep the tone lively.

It's an entertaining episode with an interesting story that features action, mystery, unexpected twists, and a romantic ending.

Episode Context

Following the previous episode's introduction of the DSA and a case tied to a mysterious woman, "Shell of Stars" pivots inward to Aiko's personal world and her dynamic with Leo. It functions as a necessary character-building bridge, slowing the pace to establish emotional groundwork before "Shell of Fear" arrives with renewed external danger and higher-stakes mission tension.
