It's a good episode; although it's a simple story, it's entertaining, with mystery and unexpected twists. The way the team reacts to different events really stands out.

Another great case for Mikura and the amount of comedy and action makes it so enjoyable. I’m so happy I picked this anime.

It’s a atmospheric, gripping episode that seamlessly blends modern vibe with unsettling supernatural suspense.

Episode Context

Coming off 'Shell of Dreams,' where the DSA navigated a deadly threat scenario, this episode pivots into standalone supernatural territory, a deliberate change of pace that tests the team in a different register. It functions as a bridge between the grounded tension of prior missions and the more psychologically complex 'Shell of Illusion' waiting ahead. Fans tracking the season's tonal evolution will notice this episode marking the shift toward stranger, more unconventional challenges for the crew.
