Episode Context

Sitting at episode 35 of 52, this filler follows an episode built around trust and belief in others, continuing a loose string of character-focused standalone stories in the season's mid-run. It has no direct plot advancement, but it deepens Zakuro's emotional profile before the series pivots to heavier lore territory, specifically, episode 36 pulls focus toward Ryou Shirogane's backstory and the origins of the Mew Mews, making this a final moment of quiet before the mythology reasserts itself.
