Episode Context

Coming directly off the emotional high of Masaya's confession, this episode shifts focus to the immediate fallout on Ichigo's personal life, using her transformations as both comic fuel and a lens for exploring the cost of her secret identity. It sits at the halfway point of the series, a stretch where the show deepens its character work before escalating its larger conflict. The complications seeded here around Ichigo's dual nature and her relationships are positioned to carry meaningful consequences in episodes ahead.
