Episode Context

Directly following 'A Dark Invitation,' where Gaito first invaded Kaito's dreams, episode 48 escalates the psychological stakes by forcing Kaito deeper into the mystery of his own origins and his enigmatic bond with Gaito. With only four episodes remaining, this marks a critical pivot point where long-seeded character secrets begin surfacing ahead of the series climax. The revelations building here lay essential groundwork for the escalating conflict and emotional confrontations that will define the final stretch.
