Luchia’s birthday dress is stunning, and Kaito finally sees her at her most beautiful. It’s sad she can’t tell him the truth or she’ll turn into bubbles. The party is interrupted, but the Water Queen’s song saves the North Pacific. What will happen to their romance? I can't wait

Episode Context

Coming off 'Crossed Hearts,' where Lucia struggled to balance her personal feelings with mermaid responsibilities, episode 13 crystallizes that internal conflict into a decisive ceremony that reshapes her role going forward. As the quarter-mark of a 52-episode run, this episode functions as a natural escalation point, introducing key new figures and deepening the mermaid-versus-Gaito conflict. It sets the foundation for intensified confrontations and broader alliances in the episodes ahead.
