Episode Context

Coming directly off the emotional blow of Seira's spirit being absorbed by Michel, this episode pivots from that loss to focus on a separate but equally painful thread. Kaito's struggle with memory loss and what it means for his bond with Lucia. At episode 8 of 39, the season is still establishing its central conflicts, and this chapter deepens the personal stakes before the larger battles ahead take shape.
