Episode Context

Coming directly after Hanon's emotionally charged confrontation with her feelings in the preceding episode, this installment continues Pure's early pattern of dedicating focused time to each of the mermaid princesses individually. It marks an important shift by establishing Masahiro as a significant presence in Rina's personal storyline, laying groundwork that will continue to develop across the season. The following episode, 'Maestro,' pivots the spotlight again, signaling that Pure is actively deepening its ensemble cast in these early episodes.
