Episode Context

This episode opens Pure directly in the wake of the first season's climactic confrontations, using the emotional residue of those events as its foundation rather than recapping them. As episode 1 of 39, it functions as a deliberate reset, establishing a new emotional baseline for the mermaid princesses before fresh antagonists and relationships are introduced. What begins here as quiet transition will gain significance as the season's new conflicts and character dynamics take shape in the episodes ahead.
