What should have been an ordinary night out becomes a nightmare for Otsuki Roonue and her boyfriend Hoshikai when they're attacked by two thugs on the street. Hoshikai gets stabbed trying to protect her, and just when things look like they can't get worse, the school principal's son, Oborozuki, shows up and saves the day. Except he's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. His help comes with strings attached, and those strings pull the story into some genuinely uncomfortable territory about power, vulnerability, and what people are willing to trade when they're desperate. This is a short ONA from Poly Animation — just 11 minutes — so it doesn't waste time with setup or filler. It drops you right into the tension and keeps tightening the screws. The pacing actually works in its favor; there's no breathing room, which fits the dark tone it's going for. Fair warning though, this is firmly in the hentai genre, so adjust your expectations accordingly. If you've watched something like Fushigi Yûgi and were drawn to its darker moments around coercion and survival, this leans hard into that space without the adventure framework. Or if the power dynamics in something like Saijô no Meii caught your attention, Meijyou explores similar tensions but in a much more explicit and condensed way. It's dark, it's blunt, and it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is.
