This is a step up from Episode 6. The student council finally gives the club a proper antagonist, and Suzuki's petty grudge is honestly kind of relatable who hasn't been upset about a nickname. The X-ray glasses backfiring is classic Meganebu! chaos.

I think introducing the student council was a good decision because the Glasses Club finally had someone pushing back against their usual antics. Suzuki's grudge toward Akira was funny and honestly fit the over-the-top atmosphere of the series. The episode is still pretty silly, but the interactions between the two groups made it more entertaining than some earlier episodes.

Oh no, the evil (?) Student Council is gonna cause trouble for our Glasses Club’s right to exist 😭 Despite how grim the premise sounds, I don’t think this story is taking the stakes very seriously, tbh 🤣 The ep’s still full of the crazy weird gags lol. It’s a pretty cohesive episode though~
