This episode is a big step up from Episode 1. The two-part structure works well Hayato's insecurity about not belonging and Yukiya's bad luck charm backstory are both genuinely compelling. The flashback to Yukiya's childhood is genuinely sad, and it makes you understand why he's so close to Akira.

Episode 2 gave more attention to Kimata, who initially felt left out after missing important information about the club. I liked seeing how the members genuinely care about one another despite their strange hobbies. The episode also explored Minabe's childhood experience and showed how meaningful friendships can help someone feel accepted. It was surprisingly heartwarming beneath all the absurd comedy.

The weird energy continues on in this ep… I don’t know what to make of it. I got a few chuckles out of this ep, at least lol. The bright, comic-bookish visuals are eye-catching, but the animation is a bit limited at times. The voice acting is hard carrying the entertainment value here imo, which is pretty fitting ig? Since this series started out as a Drama CD 😅
