A thrilling breakthrough episode where the technical challenge feels genuinely huge. Inori’s fear is handled with care, and the eventual success lands as a huge emotional and athletic milestone for both her and Tsukasa.

This episode balances hype and struggle really well. It is not just about getting stronger but dealing with fear and pressure. Feels very earned and not just power up for the sake of it.

At first I thought the flashback scene in the first few minutes was so randomly placed, but boy was I wrong. It really helped and even made this episode better. The audience also piqued my curiosity. Can't wait to hear the backstory with that new character.

Best coach Tsukasa. He really knows what to say, when to say it, and how to say it in a way that actually helps Inori. The writers really did him justice here

The whole process of whenever Inori learns a new jump always has such great writing, I don't know how they do that. The entire episode just revolved around this but it keeps you hooked the entire time!

This episode is more internal than external.
You can see the difference in how she approaches the routine now, less hesitation.
The performance feels smoother because of mindset, not just skill.

Inori's chill vibe while her coach was rushing was voiced pretty well, but some of the lines felt a little stiff like they just translated it and called it a day. dubs are for watching the actual show not subtitles anyway lol. kinda mid ep.
