I really loved the story development in this episode and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also really liked Tomo’s character and we can clearly see the love triangle here.

The episode feels juicy without dragging the exciting drama and plot developments. The love triangle chaos is actually pretty entertaining and brings a bit of spice. Nice to see an episode with a theme, quite refreshing.

The tactical environment just shifted to a high-density public zone! The school festival arc is officially live, and the war for attention is at an all-time high.

Episode Context

Positioned as the third-to-last episode of a 12-episode season, this follows directly from Episode 9's exploration of Mona's evolving feelings toward Medaka within the context of their shifting friend group. The theme park setting escalates the interpersonal tension that's been steadily building and serves as a critical stage for character development heading into the season's final stretch. With only two episodes remaining, this installment is clearly laying emotional groundwork for whatever resolution, or complication, the finale arc delivers.
