I think the animation is solid for the year it came out in but the plastic look is slightly jarring. I've seen quite a few donghua's and the introduction of our main character feels a bit rushed. I feel like they could've done two episodes so we understand why he respects his father better and more of his motivations cause it feels like he is too forgiving of his father as a child especially when his mother faces most of the backlash.
