Not a fan of the direction the story is taking toward the end of this episode. We're almost at the end of the series, yet it still feels like the main plot hasn't fully taken off. Hopefully, the remaining episodes will bring everything together.
The Orpheus myth references are a cool touch. Takeuchi being proactive and doing weird science is great energy. Rufus is getting a bit ridiculous as a villain, but the crew teaming up to protect the vampire refugees brings a lot of heart to this bleak setting
This episode kinda has 2 storylines focusing on Defand Kurusu's moments. When Defrott's moment got intense, it shifted to a relaxed and chill moment with Kurusu, which kinda spoiled the vibe. It happened 2-3 times. The plot was good, but the timing was kinda distracting.
