QUICK TAKES

The darker themes in this episode made everything feel more intense. Gero with cat ears was adorable LOL.

Unfortunate in the low budget, feels like this could be depicted way better.

In a usual rom-com, this ep’s premise SHOULD be a fun way to build romantic tension, but since this is Marriagetoxin, the vibes and direction are veeeery different 😭The dark scenes are an absolute shock to watch omfg. The sadist of a Master in this ep is such an insane challenge for Gero… I was glued to the screen. I badly wanna see how everyone will get through this…!!

Wowww this episode has balance between intense scene and also some horror in it. It was a good one but sadly end with cliffhanger

I am officially weirded out by that Naruko guy😭 but the atmosphere during the first half of the episode was actually so eerie, especially with the characters doing a zombie-like voice, was a nice touch in my opinion! Makes the whole story more dynamic✨

GIRL- why the hell did i watch this at 1 am with the lights off
why does that blonde dude (i forgot his name already) looks so much like that villain in jjk im shitting my pants

Seguimos con el enemigo del capitulo anterior que está dando bastantes problemas .

Balances horror, comedy, and action surprisingly well. Naruko feels genuinely unsettling, and the forest fight had some of the anime’s best animation yet. Shiori’s emotional breakdown made the stakes of it feels more real, while Gero’s awkward protectiveness still kept the series charm intact.

Tiba-tiba kek berubah genre di episode ini, which is so good.

EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 4 planted the seed by introducing the legend of Lord Chladni, and Episode 5 immediately capitalizes on that setup, transitioning the series from myth-building into active conflict. This episode marks the true opening of the Sound User Arc, making it a structural turning point rather than a bridge chapter. What unfolds here directly shapes the stakes and dynamics that carry the series forward.
