QUICK TAKES

It’s cool to see the philosophy behind Gero’s line of work… It’s no wonder this guy isn’t very normal 😂 And contrary to her name, Himekawa is not a passive princess, she’s so endearing~ Although there’s scary seriousness continuing from the last ep, this latter half of this ep has nicer vibes that wind down from the action 💖 Time to see if Gero will be able to apply what he’s learned from Mei 😆

A great balance between the actual action and comedy in this episode! However, the first minute and scene they showed us here had my jaw dropping on the floor because what was that😭 anyways, love the progress Gero is making towards his goal, and the shark party portion of the episode was lowkey so cute!

Gosh the shark aquarium scene was super cute, great to see personalities come out of these characters

Gero is a giant golden retriever who is a friends to lover trope advocate and you can't change my mind
"You'd bet-orca listen to her."
why are you the way you are

Para ser la primera cita no estuvo nada mal y los consejos si sirven jajaja . Habrá que seguir buscando...

Watching Gero go on this date is so relatable 😭 It's enjoyable to watch him mess up in humorous ways, and be true to himself. The ending was so sweet and well said by Kinosaki, and the relatability again makes it so much easier to connect with the story.

Cool
EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 2's focus on Gero's pursuit of charm and social competence, this episode shifts the series into more active territory with the introduction of the Water User conflict tied to Gero's mission alongside Himekawa. It marks an early transition point in the season, grounding Gero's personal development inside a higher-stakes situation and laying the groundwork for how both his relationships and his professional obligations will continue to evolve.
