This finale felt like a nice breather after all the intense fighting, and Shiori wanting to become independent before dating Gero was a great choice. It shows how much everyone is growing together, and seeing that menacing shot of Teruaki at the end has the tension rising. The second season announcement for 2027 was the perfect way to finish this.
