Very enjoyable episode once again, everything is just falling into place. The most memorable part of the manga is surfacing the memories i had for it again.

Hiks ... chemistry di episode ini dapat banget. Apalagi pas tau latar belakang Kimie. Kimie dan Chemistry kek agak mirip, 'kan? Aahhhh ... no no!! Aku masih ngedukung Gero Kinosaki.
Tapi, semoga habis arc ini Gero boleh lah temenan sama Beast Master, kek keren banget kalo bisa punya temen kek dia. Mbak Shio juga super hot banget di sini.

Action scenes grow more intense bit by bit. Another character comes to rescue! Short flashback that doesn’t disrupt the storyline, blends well with the action. Heartwarming moments, slight romance development. Enjoyable from start to finish.

i used to like the manga a lot but honestly watching the anime just makes me feel whatever about it now. i am still kinda iffy that kinosaki is voiced by a girl and looks entirely like one. maybe they are on hormones or something but it still feels weird to me like that is nit a femboy that is a girl. at least gero is still a damn good mc to follow.

the overarching narrative successfully builds significant anticipation leading into the next installment. despite familiarity with the source material the cliffhanger remains highly effective. however relying so heavily on the protagonist constantly aura farming during combat sequences slightly diminishes the overall tactical tension.

That beastmaster guy is annoying and loud asf. Even tho i read the manga i still really need the next episode to drop immediately bc leaving it right there is crazy. Gero is carrying the whole show (well he is the mc) and hes definitely proving why he's such a damn good protagonist every week.

That pink haired bat guy is so obnoxious and weird but you have to admit he is a good villain because seeing him smash Kimie's matching glasses makes you want Gero to just end him immediately

Seeing Shio show up again was a shock but her combined attack with Gero looked so cool and it is funny how she still treats him like an amateur even after he saves the day

I actually started crying when Gero ate that porridge because his grandpa really messed him up and seeing him trust Kimie like that felt so huge and important for his character

I legit screamed when Shio showed up in the mist and seeing her get hired by Kinosaki as backup was such a smart move because Gero was getting absolutely trashed by those rhinos

My favorite part was definitely the sloths just moving too slow to even hit anyone since it was such a funny break from the drama

Witnessing Arashiyama stand up to lead all those prisoners out of their cells made her look like such a hero, especially after those awful memories of her being treated like a tool

I was so surprised to see Shio back so soon after their fight, but her dynamic with Kinosaki and Gero is actually really funny, and my heart broke for Arashiyama during those lab flashbacks because those scientists were monsters, so seeing her lead the hamster revolution at the end felt like the best possible way for her to find her own strength

Gero standing back to back with a former enemy to protect Arashiyama proves he is becoming a much better man than his family intended

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 9's confrontation with the Beast Master's forces, this episode uses the aftermath to dig into who Hikaru and Kimie are under pressure — trading momentum for depth at a calculated narrative pivot. At Episode 10 of 13, the series is firmly in setup mode for its final stretch, introducing new figures like Shizuku Ushio that suggest the endgame conflicts are broader in scope than what's come before. Expect the threads laid here to pay off directly in the final three episodes.
