Maro no Kanja wa Gatenkei

This 2-episode OVA from Studio 1st adapts an adult visual novel by Elf — a developer with a long history in the genre — and follows Maro as a patient named Sakimi walks into his clinic with minor abdominal pain. He's charming enough that she trusts him, and that trust becomes the entire engine of the story. He frames everything as medical advice, including guidance on marital life and conception, and the line between examination and exploitation blurs fast. The tone is unapologetically provocative, leaning into the discomfort of the setup rather than softening it. The character designs are exaggerated in the way classic eroge art tends to be, and the animation holds up reasonably well for a short-run OVA from 2015. If you've watched something like Shuusaku or Kansen and appreciated that style of morally unambiguous antagonist-led adult storytelling, this sits comfortably in that tradition. It's not trying to be subtle. The appeal is the same kind of straightforward, tension-driven scenario those titles built their audiences on. Yarimoku Beach ni Shuugakuryokou de!! fans might find the pacing a bit slower and more clinical in tone, but the core dynamic is familiar. Two episodes, short runtime, does exactly what it advertises.
