The consequences finally start catching up to everyone and I love that the show refuses to hand out easy answers. You can feel the tension building from every direction, and even the people who oppose Maria are becoming easier to understand. That's good writing right there.

This episode reaches a climax in storyline development as Maria’s intervention backfires disastrously. Impactful battle animation and a haunting score heighten the drama. Maria’s character development hits an emotional low point, while brief, subtle comedy softens the harsh tone.
