Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion Arc Review

The mature themes, nudity, and graphic violence continue in this sequel, although to a much lesser extend than the last film. The pacing has improved which makes the story feel tighter and more focused. As a result of this, two central locations are featured. Unfortunately, the story becomes a bit more confusing in these locations. The latter half of the film being particularly bizarre with a long gambling sequence that drags on way too long. Overall I enjoyed the first half but felt the second half was mainly filler to setup the final film.
