Beyond its soaring fantasy and stunning animation lies something deeply human, a mother's love. You may judge it by its cover, but once you look deeper, it's undeniably valuable. Mari Okada's debut direction doesn't just meet expectations, it quietly surpasses them all.

I really like the characters in this anime, especially Maquia. At first, I thought it was just a normal family story, but it surprised me. The many flashbacks made me feel more emotional and showed that Maquia is a truly perfect mother.
