Synopsis
Drifting through life with no direction and no confidence, Yuichi is a young guy just kind of floating. Then two women show up and decide to change that, offering him comfort, closeness, and something more. The story is less about choosing between them and more about Yuichi figuring out what he actually wants and learning to go after it. For a 2-episode OVA from 1997, it leans into that premise with a straightforward sensual tone — there's no complex mythology or slow burn, just an intimate character dynamic where the women are genuinely driving the story as much as Yuichi is. The empowerment angle is a bit unusual for the genre; they're not passive figures, and the push-pull between guidance and desire gives it a slightly different texture than you might expect. The character designs carry that late-90s aesthetic — soft lines, expressive faces — which gives it a nostalgic feel if you've spent any time with older titles. If you've watched something like Daisuki na Mama or I Dream of Mimi and enjoyed that era's approach to adult OVAs — where the storytelling is simple but the character interactions have a little warmth to them — this fits comfortably in that space. It's a short, uncomplicated watch adapted from manga, and it does exactly what it sets out to do without overstaying its welcome.
