This episode really deepened my appreciation for Botan. The conversation between Haori and Hyoma added so much context to her situation, while Hyouma's reaction showed how much he's grown. The ending was genuinely sweet and made their dynamic even more compelling.
Botan's background is great. This episode adds depth to all the characters involved in gossiping, lol. One thing I'm a little anxious about is the story might lean more to romance. I don't have any issues with the romance genre itself, but it would feel like a waste of what has been expected from the very beginning. I hope they strike a good balance.
A slow-paced, canonical episode within the storyline, featuring a lot of plot discussion but almost no action, some comedic moments, but mostly information about Botan's past. A good episode with deep content.
