A profound, character-driven journey through high-stakes playoff baseball. The visual direction utilizes gorgeous, wide shots of packed grandstands basking in the evening stadium lights. The electric scenery mirrors the deep, relentless growth of Goro as he completely dominates opposing batters with absolute, historic throwing power.
Even though I'm having trouble with the current development, I still can't help but love Goro. I mean, the guy is simply a baseball idiot. What can we even do about his passion for the game? That said, I'm REALLY glad he decided not to be stubborn about it. I'd be really more pissed if he just kept acting like an idiot without considering his limits.
In total, this ep kept dragging on. As a team member, why just can't Shigeno tell them the truth? Eventually, I will not be surprised if this will lead to another major upset in the upcoming eps. The plot has taken a curve but I'm not thrilled to anticipate anything. That slow-motion pitch of Goro was amazing, though.
