That was quite unexpected! The first half was thrilling, full of hope, and an upbeat vibe. The second-half tone was quite somber, and that ending says it all, totally devastating and devouring. The cocky personality of Goro resurfaced again and somehow felt that he deserved that. The pacing was perfect and that visual of Goro sitting in the dug out was gorgeous!

It is indeed refreshing to see Goro realize how fiercely competitive the environment he is in is. It provides him with a healthy dose of humbleness. I am eagerly anticipating Goro’s match-ups with Toshi and can’t wait to see how they will work together since they have a great battery chemistry.
