That cliffhanger was the plot twist! The pacing for the first half was so slow, with what was going on with the team and the spotlight on Yamane. He resembled Sawamura's vibe before, though. The heated arguments were pretty intense. Can't wait for an exciting plot buildup in the next episodes, especially what Goro has in store.

this episode carries an inspiring and emotional tone as goals become clearer and challenges grow tougher. Pacing stays engaging, animation supports the sports action well, and the music adds motivation. Expect determination, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose

The twist in this episode is both emotional and incredibly hype. That said, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find Yamane hateful at first. But after watching this episode, I ended up sympathizing with him. On the other hand, I’m happy that Goro is still the same Goro I knew before.
