This ep was great! Kept remembering the calm characters like Miyuki of Dia no Ace and Sugawara of Haikyuu, to the calmness of Toshiya here. The pacing was tense, the anticipation was high, and the tone was competitive in this battle of the best. What a waste of Goro that he didn't grab the opportunity before.

This episode builds a tense and ambitious atmosphere as the difficulty level rises each time. You can almost feel the pressure and fierce competition that happens on the field.

It is quite amazing that Goro steps out of his comfort zones as either a pitcher or a batter to depend on his fellow players. This is a clear indication that no matter how talented someone may be, he cannot do everything by himself. I felt really sorry for Komori.
