What an amazing series! The way this episode wraps up really leaves me wanting more. I can’t stress enough how much I love Goro’s character. Despite his rowdiness, his actions are far more thoughtful and mature. That said, the development was really unexpected. But that’s what I love most about this series—I love the realism and the twists.

That do-or-die match up was unpredictable but expected. Kind of troubled with the pacing for this finale as it comes by so fast. Throughout the series, everything outside baseball moved quickly, though — like everything felt rushed. Well, that was an emotional flashback, and what a great way to end this season, yet this was not yet a goodbye!

Gorou and his friends have grown tremendously into great people throughout the series. Gorou specifically has become much more mature for his age, and the final arc is quite exciting to watch. What left me shocked is the news at the end of the episode since it had been a great series of episodes so far.
