What a super thrilling episode! The emotional roller coaster in this one is really PERFECT! That said, watching Goro play is simply a thrill. Every pitch, every at-bat, everything is so fun to watch. On a funny note, I can’t help but laugh at how everyone treats Shimizu, LOL! Have some faith, guys!

It was an uplifting episode, with compassion and truly a touching one. The background music was hyping perfectly as the story progressed. The sound of the rain was soothing as the tension got high but the pacing was slow. The ending scene was emotional and satisfying as Goro being surrounded by people appreciating him.

Watching Gorou and his friends give it their all to win the match makes me root for them the entire time. I love how the adults also show respect for their determination by matching the kids' energy.
